Redmond O'Neal inherited $4.5 million

Redmond O'Neal inherited $4.5 million, The troubled son of Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O'Neal was busted again for felony drug possession Tuesday - even after his late mom left him a $4.5 million trust dedicated to his health.

Police said Redmond O'Neal, 26, had heroin and marijuana in his car when an officer stopped him for making an illegal left turn in Santa Monica around 8:45 a.m.

"He's being booked for felony possession of what's believed to be heroin," Sgt. Richard Lewis of the Santa Monica Police Department told the Daily News.

The admitted addict graduated from a tough court-ordered rehab program last summer, and a judge rewarded him by dismissing a 2008 felony case related to narcotics found during a routine probation search of the Malibu home he shared with his famous dad.

Redmond O'Neal was behind bars when his "Charlie's Angels" mom died of cancer in June 2009. He won a temporary release to say goodbye and was filmed in shackles visiting her deathbed. He is still on probation for bringing drugs to a jail.

Fawcett, 62, was aware of her son's demons and didn't leave him millions outright. Instead he must live off the interest generated by his inheritance and can only access the core $4.5 million for health reasons, according to Fawcett's instructions.

Prosecutors said it was too soon to comment on the new case or possible punishment.
