After a number of unsubstantiated rumors in the past year since marrying Ryan Reynolds, Blake seems ready to start having some little ones.
Blake has even shared her desire to have babies with members of her family.
“My youngest daughter is newly married and wants a big family,” her father told People. “She says she wants 30 kids. I said, ‘Why don’t you start with one?’ ”
Ryan Reynolds also said he wants to have children soon, though the exact timing is still up to his wife.
“I would like to have children, but actually it’s not really up to me,” he said.
Blake Lively has had a number of pregnancy rumors in the months since marrying Ryan Reynolds, though none have panned out. After turning down a drink at an event this summer, rumors started that Blake Lively was pregnant.
But her representatives shot down the rumors, with sources saying Blake just isn’t much of a drinker.
“The story is 100 percent false,” Lively’s rep said. “Blake is not pregnant.”
While Blake Lively isn’t pregnant yet, she is filled with the holiday spirit. The actress recently said she loves being New York City during the Christmas season.
“I just love walking the streets of New York,” Lively said. “Not only are the buildings more decorated, but there’s an excitement. There’s an energy in the city that is different than the energy the rest of the year.”
Blake Lively may want children soon, but for Christmas she had her eye on something a bit shinier. This week she went to New York jeweler Van Cleef & Arpels and checked out a pair of vintage earrings.
“Their estate pieces are incredible,” Blake told E! News, “because they show how timeless Van Cleef is.”
She then joked that the gems would have the couple filing for bankruptcy. Plus, if Blake Lively plans on getting pregnant soon they may want to save the money for a nursery.
