Omarosa al gore office

Omarosa al gore office, Born Feb. 15, 1974 in Youngstown, OH, Omaroseonee O. Manigault was eventually best known by her married name, "Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth" or just as "Omarosa." She earned valuable experience working in the office of then-vice president Al Gore but earned fame as the breakout star of Donald Trump's reality show "The Apprentice" (NBC, 2004- ). Quickly achieving such infamy as the "villain" of the series that she earned a Teen Choice Award nomination as "Choice Reality/Variety Jackass," Manigault-Stallworth blamed her negative portrayal on the show's editors and racism. Nevertheless, the ensuing controversy buoyed her to a successful reality TV career, where her very name became synonymous with drama.

A frequent talk show guest who seemed to delight in stirring up trouble despite her protestations of innocence, Manigault-Stallworth also booked appearances on the reality shows "The Surreal Life" (The WB, 2003-04; VH1, 2004-06), "I Love New York" (VH1, 2007-08) and "The Great Debate" (VH1, 2009) as well as on the scripted series "Girlfriends" (UPN, 2000-06; The CW, 2006-08). Embracing her notoriety, Manigault-Stallworth became such a lightning rod and surefire attention-grabber that Donald Trump invited her to return to "The Celebrity Apprentice" where, even though she did not win, she once again delivered must-see-TV with her brutal clashes with U.K. journalist/TV personality - and eventual winner - Piers Morgan. She also earned her own dating reality show, "The Ultimate Merger" (TV One, 2010- ).

Despite all the potentially manufactured drama of her onscreen life, Manigault-Stallworth was no stranger to the real thing; her father was murdered when she was a child, her brother was murdered in 2011, and she was present when her fiancé, the actor Michael Clarke Duncan, suffered a heart attack in July 2012. Reportedly saving his life with CPR, Manigault-Stallworth then had to deal with his eventual death on Sept. 3, 2012, going into instant mourning. Few people even knew she was dating Duncan, let alone saving his life and grieving only months apart. In the midst of this dark time, Trump invited his greatest "Apprentice" discovery to return to the familiar setting of "The Apprentice" boardroom when she was tapped to appear in the 2012 "all-stars" celebrity edition.
