Pregnant mom arrested over snack. A pregnant mom and her husband, who recently moved from California to another state, were arrested and lost custody of their 3-year-old daughter after they went to a Safeway to get provisions. They were so hungry they ate while shopping, she says, and when they forgot to pay for them, they were arrested.
