Al Roker, the show's host, overslept his 6 a.m. show for the first time ever in his 39-year career.Luckily, Roker arose and made it to "Today." He didn't make it through without a few jabs, though, as host Matt Lauer called him "Rip van Roker."
Roker took part in the jokes, too, saying that he was going to rename his show "Wake Up, Al!"
