Connie Britton adopts son Eyob, There are plenty of single moms in Hollywood, but one in particular is feeling the pressure while raising her adopted son. Connie Britton, of Friday Night Lights and Nashville fame, adopted her son Eyob from Ethiopia in 2011, but as Eyob gets older, Connie is coming to terms with how unprepared she is for some of the questions he will likely begin to ask.
"Until I find that perfect man in my life,” Connie tells Us Weekly, “there's going to be all these 'man things' that I'm not going to have any idea how to impart to him. That part is scary."
Just a tidbit of real talk, Connie: No matter if you're a single mom or if you have a partner, being unsure comes with the territory! As much as you’d love to have all the answers, you don’t. Your mom didn’t either, and neither did her mom.
But from everything we know about Connie as a person, we have every confidence that she will know just what to say to the little guy when the time comes, or else she'll figure it out. After all, she played pretty much the best, wisest mom ever on television. (Tami Taylor, we bow down to you.)
