Courteney Cox Breaks Wrist During a Holiday Vacation, Courteney Cox seriously injured herself when she and her friends were on a holiday vacation in Cancun, Mexico, according to TMZ. A source told the site that on Saturday, August 10, Cox broke her wrist after slipping and attempting to break her fall with her hand.
A local doctor was ordered to come to Cox's hotel room and confirmed that her wrist was broken. The 49-year-old actress immediately decided to book a private jet and head back to Los Angeles, preferring to seek treatment from her own physicians.
It is not yet known if the former "Friends" star will need a surgery to help reset the bone.
Cox was apparently on a holiday she deserved after she finished filming "Just Before I Go", her latest projet which she directed herself. She began working on the film, which stars Seann William Scott, Garret Dillahunt and Kate Walsh, early last month in Los Angeles.
