Katy perry john mayer, Katy Perry might have recently released her new single Roar but it seems there might be another announcement coming for the singer as boyfriend John Mayer is rumoured to be planning to propose, a new report claims.
The couple, who have had an on off romance for over a year, are said to be happier than ever after rekindling their romance in May and after the Firework star nursed John after his throat surgery last year he's said to have realised just how much she means to him.
"She’s changed his life for ever," a friend told the MailOnline. "This is the most serious John has been about anyone and he wants to make it official."
While another friend added: "Their romance is so strong – so it shouldn’t be too long before he gets down on one knee."
John, who has a reputation for dating a string of Hollywood beauties including Jennifer Aniston and Taylor Swift, has made no secret of his affection for Perry. During the first gig on his Born and Raised comeback tour he dedicated a song to her and gushed on stage about just how special she is.
Taking to the stage at Milwaukee’s Marcus Amphitheater in July he told fans the final track, A Face To Call Home, was for the 28 year-old, saying: "Katy, who is my face to call home."
"[Katy] is more incredible than I ever thought," he reportedly told the crowd.
While we don't know if they'll definitely tie the knot, the couple have confirmed at least one collaboration as Perry will feature on her boyfriend's new album Paradise Valley, on a track called Who You Love.
