Lindsay Lohan at Betty Ford rehab, Lindsay Lohan has split one rehab facility for another. The "Mean Girls" star moved Wednesday from the Betty Ford Center near Palm Springs to the ultra-luxurious Cliffside Malibu rehab on two acres overlooking the Pacific, a source confirmed to the Daily News.
Actress Lindsay Lohan and attorney Mark Heller appear at a hearing in Los Angeles Superior Court. Day one of the trial of Lindsay Lohan in Los Angeles.
The new facility boasts a heated lap pool, sun deck, private rose and meditation gardens, a gym, plasma TVs, a professional chef and Egyptian cotton towels.
"Betty Ford is great and very professional, but it's a 30-day program, so Lindsay has moved to a different facility to finish out her time given by the judge," mom Dina Lohan told The News.
"It's more of a one-on-one situation where she is now, which is the next step," Dina said. "She'll be getting more individual attention, a holistic approach and a lot of exercise. It's great for her. She's doing fantastic."
The facility’s founder Richard Taite is a former addict and best-selling author who had some sharp words for Lindsay after her arrest for allegedly punching a woman at a Manhattan nightclub last November. The case was never prosecuted.
“She is definitely spiraling out of control,” Taite reportedly told Celebzter.com. "She is continually getting into trouble and any reasonable person can tell she needs help.”
He said Lindsay was “walking a slippery slope” and predicted that if she didn’t clean up her act, she would “in all probability, seriously hurt herself or someone else.”
Taite is a vocal critic of Adderall – a prescription drug for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) that Lindsay has used for years – and charges upward of $50,000 a month for one of the 18 beds at his boutique clinic.
Private rooms are $68,000 a month at Cliffside, according to thefix.com.
Lindsay, 26, is serving a 90-day rehab sentence after pleading no contest to reckless driving and lying to a police officer about a crash on a Santa Monica highway last year.
The actress barely escaped an arrest warrant last month when she bailed on one rehab facility tentatively approved by her judge and landed at Betty Ford with just minutes to go before a midnight deadline.
The judge has said Lohan must stay put the entire three months of "locked" rehab, warning that she will land in jail if she accepts a day pass or leaves the campus for any reason.
Prosecutors pre-approved the rehab switch, TMZ.com reported.
Lindsay was on probation for a Los Angeles shoplifting conviction at the time of her crash, so her plea deal involved prosecutors from both Los Angeles and Santa Monica.
"I'm not going to comment," Santa Monica City Attorney Terry White said Thursday
