Cyber Monday sales: Target, Walmart look to extend Black Friday sales

Cyber Monday sales
Cyber Monday sales: Target, Walmart look to extend Black Friday sales, Cyber Monday sales could be a huge this year. Stores like Target and Walmart want to extend Black Friday success, so Cyber Monday sales for the online versions of each retail store could offer a lot to consumers. According to a report from late Monday (Nov. 18), consumers are expected to spend $1.8 billion online the Monday after Thanksgiving 2013 (Dec. 2).

In a year where some analysts are predicting that Black Friday sales might be down, the expectation is that more consumers will be choosing to spend their money online. That's a big bonus for companies like Amazon and others that are based entirely online and an added push for physical stores that have a growing presence in the online marketplace.

Target is teasing about how they will be doing an entire Cyber Week, beginning on Dec. 2 and continuing through to Dec. 8. Their big online advertising for those deals will begin on Sunday, Dec. 1, allowing consumers to plan out their upcoming purchases. For anyone unable to make a purchase at one of the Black Friday locations, this could be a big way to purchase a lot of holiday gifts.

Not many Cyber Monday sales are revealing exactly what products will be available, but there are a lot of teasers and rumors floating around. Below are a few links to the sellers that plan on making a big splash though.
