George Watsky's stage dive from 10m rig injures fans, A US rapper has apologised after his "stupid" stage dive took out two fans, and left him battered and red-faced.
"I made a boneheaded decision that got people hurt, and it's extremely lucky it wasn't worse. Putting your own body on the line is one thing, but putting other people in harm's way is inexcusable," San Francisco rapper George Watsky said on his Facebook page.
I have no excuse for my actions, and the only way I can explain my mindset is that it was a huge overreach in the heat of the moment
Watsky, 27, was performing in London when he climbed the stage's ten metre lighting rig, yelled "have you got my back?" to the crowd and leaped,
People screamed as the artist fell and the crowd parted. Watsky landed on two people - breaking one woman's arm and leaving a man with a back injury.

He wasn't injured. "Besides some nicks, bruises, and the shame of endangering the crowd," he said.

"My tour manager Nils and I stayed at the hospital for six hours til the visiting period ended [sic], and all I know about the man's condition at this point is that he has no breaks and the injury seems to be muscular/ bruising. I'll be going back in the morning to try to apologise, but I wouldn't blame the guy if he spits in my face."
Watsky insisted he was "not drunk or on drugs," but simply trying to conquer his "timidity" by acting dangerously. He described his actions as "stupid and wildly irresponsible".
He said he would continue with the remaining six tour dates, but "will NOT be jumping off anything".
Watsky, who also perfoms slam poetry has talked about his fear of stage diving before.
