The Hills' Star Whitney Port Engaged,Whitney Port is officially off the market. The former MTV reality star-turned-fashion designer is engaged to TV producer boyfriend Tim Rosenman.
Her rep confirmed the engagement to MTV News on Thursday (November 21). Further details about the engagement, including a peek at her ring, had yet to be revealed at press time.
The newly engaged couple met on the set of MTV's "The City," a spinoff of "The Hills." Rosenman was an associate producer on the series, which ended its two-season run in 2010. They pair began dating in 2012 after Port split from another MTV reality show vet, "The Buried Life" star Ben Nemetin.
According to an Us Weekly source, Port "is super comfortable" and "in love" with the producer. "She likes that he is from New York because he is such a great tour guide when they visit the city."
Back in 2009, California native Port opened up to MTV News about dating on TV, noting that she had "no regrets" about exposing her personal life in that way.
"I think it was a really big learning experience for me. I didn't really realize or think about how crazy getting in a deep relationship on camera was going to be and what the outcome was and how it was going to affect me," she said. "At first, I was really upset that I allowed that to happen, and at the same time you kind of have to go with the flow with those kinds of things."
Whitney is hardly the only "Hills" alum preparing to walk down the aisle. Her onetime small-screen bestie, Lauren Conrad, confirmed her engagement to former Something Corporate rocker William Tell back in October.
