Arrowhead homicide? Man dies after fight at Arrowhead Stadium, possible homicide, Police are still investigating a possible Arrowhead homicide that reportedly took place in the Arrowhead stadium parking lot while the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos played each other, according to a Dec. 1 report from CBS Sports.

Although it is still unclear as to whether the Arrowhead homicide was indeed a murder, Kansas City police Chief Darryl Forte tweeted about the incident and he labeled it as a homicide in the tweet while other police officials referred to it as a death investigation.

Capt. Tye Grant, a public information officer with KCPD, told USA Today that police were called to scene of the parking lot in Arrowhead stadium, which is located in Kansas City, Missouri and home to the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs.

The alleged Arrowhead homicide is said to have taken place around 5 p.m. Central time. When police arrived at the scene, they witnessed emergency medical services desperately trying to revive a white male in his mid-20s. The man was not breathing and he was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival.

"At this time, we're not calling it a homicide, but we'll investigate it as one," said Grant.

Police have taken three persons of interest in custody who are believed to have information pertaining to the Arrowhead homicide. However, authorities have not released details on their connection to the death as of yet.

Regarding the Arrowhead homicide, KCTV5 reports that after making a trip to their Jeep during the game, a man and his son spotted a man sitting in their vehicle. The father and the man who was sitting in the Jeep began to fight. While the men continued fighting, the man's son ran to get help.

Detectives still aren't sure if the man had broken into the vehicle or was mistakenly in the wrong vehicle.

According to the report, the man who alleged broke into the Jeep collapsed onto the pavement and he later died at the hospital.

Police are investigating the possible Arrowhead homicide and Kansas City police Officer Darrin Snapp stated that an autopsy will reveal more information as to how the man died because he wasn't stabbed or shot and hospital officials didn't find signs of a major struggle on his body.

Sapp gave the following statement about the alleged Arrowhead homicide incident: "The main thing we're trying to figure out now is exactly how this person died. The hospital says there's no obvious signs of how he passed away, so we're still waiting on that. We're going to investigate it as a homicide until we find out exactly how the person died.

"Everyone was very cooperative when we got here. Everyone that we believed was involved is still here and we're talking to them. Right now they're persons of interest. Like I said, until we find out exactly how this person passed away, we're going to investigate it as a homicide. They're not suspects right now until we find out exactly what happened," Snapp said.
