Josh Gordon's Instant Fantasy Reaction Heading into 2013 Fantasy Playoffs

Josh Gordon's Instant Fantasy Reaction Heading into 2013 Fantasy Playoffs
Josh Gordon's Instant Fantasy Reaction Heading into 2013 Fantasy Playoffs, Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon continues to assert himself as a rock-solid No. 1 fantasy receiver option for owners with playoffs on the horizon.

Gordon was at it again in Week 13 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, racking up 10 receptions for 261 yards and two touchdowns—good for 38 fantasy points.

After recording 14 receptions for 237 yards and one score in Week 12, the Baylor product picked up right where he left off against the Jags. Both performances mean Gordon broke an NFL record.

Gordon's performance against Jacksonville makes it seven times he has scored 12 or more points this season. This is most impressive considering he has accomplished it with a hodgepodge of names under center including Brandon Weeden, Brian Hoyer and Jason Campbell.

While his remaining schedule is not favorable at first glance, it shouldn't matter at this point to owners. The Patriots (ninth), Bears (13th) and Jets (22nd) have all fared well in passing yards allowed per game, but Gordon should remain in all lineups.

And if you play in Week 17, have no fear: Gordon torched Pittsburgh for 29 fantasy points in their last matchup, and the Steelers only allow an average of 19.5 points to the position.

That is obviously a high mark, but Gordon has established himself as a matchup-proof fantasy option who will be reliable in the postseason.
