Sofia vergara married at 18, Modern Family” star Sofia Vergara stepped out with light blonde hair this week, a drastic change from the dark brunette locks she usually wears. Us Weekly reports that Vergara, 41, was spotted as a blonde this Wednesday, July 31 in Los Angeles – and reveals that the lighter shade is her natural hair color.
Vergara looked casual in leggings, a gray sweater and large sunglasses, carrying a white Prada handbag.
She dyed her hair a darker blonde earlier this year, but this week’s lighter locks are a drastic change.
Vergara has said that she’s a natural blonde.
"I'm a natural blonde, but when I started acting, I would go to auditions, and they didn't know where to put me because I was voluptuous and had the accent -- but I had blonde hair," she said in a 2010 interview.
"The moment I dyed my hair dark, it was, 'Oh, she's the hot Latin girl,” she added.
"I loved it. Being brunette toned me down a bit."
The Daily Mail reports that Vergara was in Los Angeles is currently filming a new movie, “Chef,” from “Iron Man” director Jon Favreau, who also writes and stars in the film.
The movie reportedly centers on Carl Casper, a man who begins a food truck business after he loses his job as a chef. Vergara plays Casper’s ex-wife. The cast also includes Scarlett Johansson and “Iron Man’ star Robert Downey, Jr.
On July 27, Vergara tweeted, “Back In LA on the set of Chef! So jetlag not even Colombian coffee can help me.”
She celebrated her 41st birthday on set, tweeting photos of herself with a cake and gifts, writing, “Happy bday on the set !! My cake!!!!! My cake!!! My cake!!!'”
