Doug baldwin philippines

Doug baldwin philippines, Doug Baldwin says he has “too many family members to count” living in the Philippines, so on Sunday the Seattle Seahawks wide receiver came up with a way to show his love for those devastated by Typhoon Haiyan.

Before the game, Baldwin carried the flag of the Philippines onto Century Link Field, where the Seahawks were taking on the Minnesota Vikings. Baldwin says that his family members living in the Philippines, including his grandmother, were all unhurt from the typhoon.

Doug Baldwin isn’t the only one trying to help victims of Typhoon Haiyan. This week singer Chris Brown, who just checked himself out of rehab, turned out to a relief drive in West Hollywood to support the storm’s victims.

The event was hosted by model Christine Mendoza at the apparel outlet Brooklyn Projects, though onlookers said Chris Brown didn’t look too enthused about being there.

“Chris looked to be doing more hanging out than helping,” a source told the Daily Mail.

Apple iTunes is getting in on the relief act as well. The music and file download service announced it would be soliciting donations for relief efforts, much as it did when it raised $2.5 million for last year’s Superstorm Sandy.

Customers go to the iTunes donation page and click on the donation ranging from $5 to $200.
