Rebecca Romijn has a full house but it's not with John Stamos.

The actress, who is the mother of 4-year-old twin girls with husband of nearly six years Jerry O'Connell, can't seem to shake her former moniker.

"Oh my God, it happened to me last night!!" she says in the August issue of Redbook about being referred to by her former married name.

Rebecca Romijn-Stamos divorced John Stamos in March 2005, but his name has apparently stuck.

During her six year union with the "Full House" actor, she went by Rebecca Romijn-Stamos. Although the star of TNT's "King & Maxwell" divorced Stamos in March 2005, the name has stuck until today.

But life for the 40-year-old has come far from her days as a Stamos. She's happily married to O'Connell and they have blossomed in their careers and parenthood through the support of one another.

"We're each other's assistants," she describes as they chose not to hire a full-time nanny. "We pick up each other's slack. Whoever is less busy helps the busier one."

Rebecca Romijn and her husband, Jerry O'Connell, have been married for six years. They have twin 4-year-old girls, Dolly and Charlie.

By having each other's back, Romijn and O'Connell find a balance between their hectic work demands and with their lives as hands-on parents.

"'Can you go pick this up for?' or 'Can you book my flight?'" she continues to explain about their sense of teamwork. "That's what real life is. Once you start paying somebody else to do the grunt work, who are you?"
Seemingly up for any challenge, Romijn adapted to gaining weight during her pregnancy like a champ.

Rebecca Romijn tells the August issue of Redbook that she and Jerry O'Connell are true partners: 'We pick up each other's slack. Whoever is less busy helps the busier one.'

"I wasn't worried -- you've gotta feather that nest!" she says. "Afterward, I was nursing for six months. When you're a new mother, your body doesn't belong to you for a while. You have to check your vanity at the door."
It's hard to believe the mother, wife, actress and former model, who has been in the spotlight since the early '90s, turned 40 in November. But for Romijn, aging is the least of her concerns.

"Aging has never been scary to me," she admits. "I've always admired my mom's lines - she has a beautiful, laughter-filled face. I've always thought that was attractive."
