Jon gruden espn, Brandon Marshall absolutely leveled Sean Lee to help Chicago Bears quarterback Josh McCown scramble for a first down in the second quarter of the team’s game with the Dallas Cowboys on Monday night.
McCown wasn’t running intentionally, but after evading pressure around the edge from DeMarcus Ware, he decided to scramble. Marshall broke off his route, quickly spotted Lee, and lit up the Cowboys stud linebacker. It was a devastating block.
ESPN commentators Mike Tirico and Jon Gruden were duly impressed with the block and absolutely raved about it. The 10-yard scramble on second down helped set the Bears up for a first-and-goal. They later scored on another run by McCown to make it 14-7.
