The former Full House actress and the brother of former French President Nicolas Sarkozy, have once again sparked wedding rumours after the pint-sized former child star was reportedly spotted shopping for engagement rings in high end jewelry store Neil Lane several times in recent weeks.
Mary-Kate is said to have first visited the Los Angeles branch back in mid-November and has returned several times since.
According to the New York Post's Page Six, the twin sister of Ashley has her heart set on a rock 'over five carats'.
'...she really likes cushion-cut diamonds, and all of the rings she has looked at are over 5 carats.' a source told the newspaper. 'I don't think price was an issue.'
The publication reports that Mary-Kate has several rings on hold, all with a price tag of $100,000 and over.
Page Six claims that the Elizabeth and James designer has not quite yet made a final decision on the bling, and is still contemplating her options.
Oddly, Sarkozy has not been by his reported future bride's side for the all important decision, leaving it completely up to the stylish star.
The couple first sparked engagement rumours earlier this year in January when Mary-Kate was spotted wearing a ring on her left hand wedding finger during a trip to Paris.
The couple have been dating for over a year and a half after first debuting their relationship in May 2012, and despite the 16-year gap in their ages, have defied the odds.
To the casual observer, they might seem like an unusual pair, as Mary-Kate stands at a petite five-foot-two while the French-American banker towers several inches taller.
But the pair appear very much in love, and are often seen putting on PDAs when they attend numerous soirees and their favourite sporting event - NBA basketball.
Sarkozy is divorced and has two children with his ex-wife Charlotte Bernard, from whom he split in 2010 after 13 years of marriage.
Mary-Kate’s twin sister Ashley, meanwhile, caused a small tornado when she dated bicycle star Lance Armstrong when she was 21 and he was 36.
