Ian ziering true tori, Ian Ziering does not hold back when asked on “Access Hollywood” about his old friend Tori Spelling’s explosive — and, many say, exploitive — reality show “True Tori,” which has been documenting the aftermath of husband Dean McDermott’s cheating scandal.

“It’s tough to watch,” says her onetime “Beverly Hills, 90210″ co-star. “It saddens me to see Tori going through all this pain.”
He continues, “I have a tremendous amount of love for Tori… and I’m just sad. It’s a train wreck. And you have to watch it. I mean, it makes great television, and it will certainly propel each of them in the directions they want to go in terms of the entertainment industry because interesting characters are always of value on reality television.”
“I question the motives,” says Ziering. “Why?”
Later, when told the Spelling has said she wants her children to be able to watch the show because hopefully there will be a “happy ending for them,” Ziering jokes, “It seems like everyone in that family wants a happy ending.”
He also talks about McDermott being rude to Jason Priestley at a recent “Beverly Hills, 90210″ event.
