Megyn kelly loss

Megyn kelly loss, It's been a rough week for South Dakota Republican Annette Bosworth. First, she found out she lost Tuesday's Republican primary for U.S. Senate on live television. On Wednesday, she was arrested on allegations she presented improper petition signatures when she filed to run for office.

Authorities allege Bosworth presented signatures she said were gathered in her presence during a time when she was traveling abroad. She's been charged with six felony counts of offering false or forged instrument and six felony counts of perjury.

Clayton Walker, a former independent candidate, was also arrested for alleged issues with his petition signatures.
"The election complaints received by the Secretary of State involve conduct that is serious, deliberate, and must be addressed in order to preserve the integrity of our elections.  Because this is a federal elected office, I have and will continue to discuss the investigation with federal authorities," said South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley.

Bosworth told the Sioux Falls Argus Leader, "There was no criminal intent to deceive, nor was there any reason to."
Bosworth, who ran a long-shot campaign, drew national attention last month when she spoke in a room covered in sexist slurs to denounce "hateful" things she'd been called online.

Former governor Mike Rounds won the GOP nomination. He faces Democrat Rick Weiland, a former Tom Daschle aide, in the general election.
