Former sheriff of the year arrested
Police say the National Sheriffs' Association sheriff of the year of 2001, Patrick Sullivan Jr., 68, was arrested and faces serious charges. Sullivan, who retired as the Arapahoe County sheriff in 2002, is being held on $250,000 bail in a detention facility named after him and faces up to 5 years in prison if convicted.
