Aaron Paul, Will Arnett Join 'BoJack Horseman' Cartoon Cast, Nothing says "comedy gold" like a washed-up, humanoid horse actor with a drinking problem. That's the premise behind BoJack Horseman, a new animated series that features Will Arnett, Aaron Paul and Amy Sedaris and is set to premiere on Netflix in mid-2014.

BoJack Horseman will be the streaming service's "first original adult animated series," and it definitely has some comedic thoroughbreds in its stable. Arrested Development star Will Arnett will voice the titular horse – who, according to a press release, originally found stardom in the fictional "1990s family favorite sitcom 'Horsin' Around'" before hitting a career skid. Strangers With Candy veteran Amy Sedaris will voice Princess Caroline, BoJack's feline agent and former lover, while Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul will lend his talents as Todd, BoJack's human pal.

The series – which will premiere with 12 episodes – was created by Raphael Bob-Waksberg and features animation from ShadowMachine, the studio responsible for Adult Swim cartoons like Robot Chicken and Moral Orel.

“BoJack Horseman is a brutally funny and unique take on what can happen after pop stardom,” says Netflix Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos in a press release. “Raphael has created an amazing set of characters voiced by some of the best comics and actors in the world. We’re delighted to be partnering with Michael Eisner in delivering BoJack exclusively to Netflix members around the world.”

Of course, this isn't Arnett's first time working with Netflix: after being canceled by original network Fox, Arrested Development was rebooted for 13 new episodes on the streaming platform earlier this year. Paul, meanwhile, is diving into action movies next spring as the star of Need for Speed.
