Mariah Carey brought down the house with her performance of #Beautiful with Miguel and Young Jeezy. But it wasn’t her sparkly silver mini dress that caught our attention.
It was her lips!
Viewers are now tweeting that Mariah‘s performance at the 2013 BET Awards was all fake!
Remember how Mimi was allegedly lip syncing on the American Idol finale just a month ago? Oh no, not again.
Her hubby Nick Cannon raised our expectations so high that this fiasco definitely caught us off-guard. He raved on the red carpet right before the show, “My wife is a perfectionist and clearly because she’s done it right all her life. So she actually puts a lot of work into these performances. There’s no management helping make decisions. Everything you see is all her, whether it’s a collaboration when the lights hit, how she enters, she’s doing all of that.”
But he did admit that he didn’t get to see the rehearsal! He didn’t want to put that “extra pressure” on his wifey. So, maybe this whole thing is a big shocker for him as well!
